Still Normal
The painting Christina's World by Andrew Newell Wyeth depicts Christina Olson, who was paralyzed from the waist down due to a disease. Based on just looking at the painting, I would never guess that Christina was paralyzed. She seems to be a normal person. Although she can only be viewed from the back, she seems to be a very pretty woman. She has a nice house and yard in a beautiful setting on the prairie, and she seems to be a normal woman. This proves that people who are disadvantaged can still lead very normal lives despite having a mental or physical disability. My position statement "Whenever you feel like criticizing someone... remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had" is not supported by the painting because it shows that when judging someone, disabilities in some cases can be irrelevant and should not be taken into account. Another example is if I was judged on my character, my food allergies would be inapplicable.
